The Fit Model platform within JMP is incredibly powerful but can sometimes feel a little bit overwhelming when models are simultaneously being constructed for multiple responses.
Here is an example screenshot for you – the fact that I am unable to include the entire contents of the window in the screenshot is an illustration of the problem!
But JMP has a trick up it’s sleeve. There are some layout options that can be accessed by right-clicking on the disclosure icon (circled in the screenshot below):
Choose the horizontal option and the layout changes to one column per response. Personally I find this layout much more practical – not only because our modern-day computer screens are wide but short, but because it makes it easy for me to compare like-for-like. For example, if I want to scan the summary of fits for each model it is trivial (showing it on this blog is harder – but click on the picture below and you will see it at higher resolution):
And here is another example, containing more output, and with the very powerful profiler which becomes an additional column of the report:
